Safe driving

What is safe driving?

Safe driving is an additional training program prescribed by law. Usually the first time we hear about Safe Driving is when we pass the test and someone tells us; "Well, now you have Safe Driving waiting for you."But what exactly is safe driving? This is an additional training program where you refresh your knowledge of CPP (road traffic regulations), learn some new, useful information and then test your driving skills at the training ground. The training ground is not the same as at the beginning of the first lesson, when you were still doing the driving test, but it is much more challenging and fun. It consists of slippery surfaces, sharp bends, raised floors, etc. At Safe Driving, the instructors want to prepare you on how to react correctly in a dangerous situation, to get a feel for what it's like when you don't have full control over the car and how to react to it.

Do I have to do safe driving and what happens if you don't do safe driving?

According to Article 39 of the ZVCP, a novice driver is obliged to undergo additional training for novice drivers (safe driving) after at least six months from the issuance of the driver’s license and no later than within two years .

At home ; After you pass your driving test, you must pass Safe Driving within 6 months – 2 years. If you do not drive safely, your driving license is no longer valid and cannot be renewed at the administrative unit.
